erin schmitt, acupuncturist

Erin Schmitt

Erin moved to Mt. Airy as a teenager and has happily called it home ever since. She decided to go to acupuncture school after falling in love with the Community Acupuncture model and its commitment to making healthcare affordable and accessible. Erin received her Master’s in Acupuncture from the Won Institute in Glenside and is licensed to practice acupuncture in Pennsylvania. Her previous work was with child-survivors of domestic violence. When she’s not at the clinic, Erin hangs out with her three kids and likes to garden.

Erin is one of the co-founders of Philadelphia Community Acupuncture and works on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9-1. She is also scheduled on Sundays from 2-5 pm. Her Sundays are always really booked up so make sure to schedule those in advance!

Billy J. Scott

Billy is a graduate of AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine in Austin, TX, and has been practicing acupuncture and herbal medicine since 2008.

Billy worked at PCA West Philly from 2011-2013 and joined PCA Mt. Airy in 2014.

Outside of PCA, Billy enjoys hiking and exploring, spending time with dog friend, Okemah, and learning muay thai.

Billy works at the clinic four days a week: Mondays and Thursdays from 2-7 pm, Fridays from 9am-2pm, and Saturdays from 10am-2pm.

Ellen Vincent, Treasurer of the board of directors

Ellen Vincent

Ellen is one of the co-founders of Philadelphia Community Acupuncture and is still involved from afar. She moved to Tucson in 2012 just after the Mt. Airy location opened and has been doing admin work from home as well as acting as Treasurer on the Board of Directors. She visits her hometown of Philly and the clinic at least once a year. She practices acupuncture and crunches numbers at Tucson Acupuncture Co-op the rest of the time. Ellen misses her friends and family in Philly but not the Philly winters!
